OneyearonfromtheGames,thevenuesoftheBeijing2022WinterOlympicsandParalympicsarebeingenjoyedbylocalresidentsandathletes,boostingiceandsnowsportsinChina.

Sinceopeningtothepublic,theNationalStadium(Bird"sNest),NationalAquaticsCenter(IceCube)andNationalSpeedSkatingOval(IceRibbon)havereceivedatotalof850,000visits,accordingtoBeijingState-ownedAssetsManagementCo.Ltd.,whichoperatesthethreevenues.

Thevenueshavehostedskatingandcurlingcompetitions,wintercamps,themedexhibitionsandtourismprogramstoreviewhighlightsoftheGamesandattractmorepeopletotakepartiniceandsnowsports.

DuringtherecentSpringFestivalholiday,thethreevenuesjointlylaunchedcombinationticketsallowingvisitorstoexperiencetheOlympicspiritandparticipateinvarioussportsandculturalevents,creatinganewtourismmodelandhelpingboosttherecoveryofdomesticconsumption.

Committedtopromotingwintersports,thevenuesalsoprovidetrainingtothepublic.Forexample,nearly6,000peoplehavetakenpartintrainingsessionsatthe"IceRibbon"ineventssuchasspeedskating,shorttrackspeedskatingandfigureskating.

Inaddition,thevenueshavestrengthenedcooperationwithdomesticandforeignsportsorganizationsinholdinghigh-levelcompetitionsandprovidingservicesforprofessionaltraining.

TheNationalAquaticsCenterhasestablishedstrategiccooperationwiththeWorldCurlingFederationandtheChineseCurlingAssociationtojointlypromotethedevelopmentofcurlinginChinaandthesustainableuseoftheGames"legacy.

ThankstothecooperationbetweentheNationalSpeedSkatingOvalandtheInternationalSkatingUnion(ISU),anISUCenterofExcellencehasbeensetupatthe"IceRibbon,"whichissettobecomeaninternationalcommunicationandtrainingcenterforthesportofskating.
